Precautions and warnings Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before taking Desloratadine: • If you have kidney impairment • If you have a medical or family history of seizures Possible side effects Stop using the product and seek immediate medical care if you experience throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, or if you feel faint or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching on the face or body. Other medications and Desloratadine There are no known interactions between Desloratadine and other medications. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines. How to use Desloratadine Always take this medication exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above: The recommended dose is one tablet once daily with water, with or without food. This medication is for oral use. Swallow the tablet whole. How to store Desloratadine Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this medication after the expiration date printed on the carton and blister pack after EXP. The expiration date indicates the last day of the same month. This medication does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use this medication if you notice any changes in the appearance of the tablets. Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.
